The Amplid Wasabi 23/24 is a Freeride snowboard from the brand's Future Shapes family, designed as an innovative, shorter, and more playful option for lighter or smaller riders to use in freeriding and powder. It offers good float in powder while maintaining responsiveness and versatility on hardpack and other terrains. Key features include the OMNI Core, HEXO2 Lite honeycomb in the tip for reduced swing weight, a carbon Pop Band for liveliness, and Thick Cut tips for vibration dampening.
Key Features of the Wasabi 23/24:

- Inspired by the Souly Grail's shape, it has a unique geometry combining classic surf tail with a futuristic nose for a balanced riding experience.
- For Lighter/Smaller Riders:
- The Wasabi is specifically designed to be the perfect size and playfulness for lighter or smaller individuals.
- All-Mountain Versatility:
- While it excels in powder, it also provides a forgiving carving experience on groomers and can handle various snow conditions.
- Playful and Responsive:
- It's built to be a playful board without compromising on its ability to carve and ride the mountain
Small and spicy. This is what “Wasabi” originally stands for. With this new board Amplid is extending its Future Shape family downwards, meaning that we are adding a shorter shape for the lighter/smaller rider.
Inspired by the Souly Grail’s geometry – classic surf tail meets futuristic nose – the Wasabi provides a responsive yet forgiving carving sensation on groomers, but floats like a rubber dingy in the deep.
The HEXO2 inlays in the nose in combination with the V-shaped tail provide additional maneuverability and turn it into a nimble little beast.
LOW CAMBER W/ EARLY RISE
A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Its toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.
